Resets and StoppagesPlay usually continues unless staff stops it.
Staff may stop play when:
ALL robots cannot move
A robot or ball goes out of bounds
A robot breaks
There is a safety issue
Any robot stuck is reset after a goal.
Staff may pause, reset, modify, or stop play at any time for safety, fairness, or equipment issues
-
Goal = Clear all balls from the field as fast as possible.
Formats
Solo/Co-op: one or more players work as a team for the fastest clear time
Competitive: 2 teams race for the faster clear time
How to Win
Clear the map faster than the other team(s)
If the map is not cleared before the time limit, score is based on how many balls were cleared
-
Goal = Score more goals than the other team by the end of the game.
Game Format
Two 5-minute halves
Teams switch sides at halftime
Most goals at the end wins
In a tie, the fastest team to clear two balls wins
Starting the Game
All robots must be touching their own side of the bar.
After a Goal
The team scored on has 5 seconds to roll the ball back in.
The ball must:
Go under that team’s bar
Stay in bounds
If not, the other team gets the ball.

Rc Ball may pause gameplay, deny participation, remove a participant, stop a match, change the setup, delay gameplay, end an activity, or refuse unsafe conditions due to:
Ignored safety rules
Ignored operator instructions
Venue rules
Weather
Crowding
Unsafe behavior
Poor lighting
Wet, uneven, unstable, or obstructed surfaces
Equipment or battery concerns

The host agrees to help:
Communicate Rc Ball’s safety rules to the group
Keep guests, children, pets, food, drinks, bags, decorations, and unrelated equipment away from the arena and operating area
Provide a flat, stable, safe setup area

Safely hold and use a controller
Follow basic instructions

Rc Ball may deny participation to anyone who appears impaired, aggressive, reckless, disruptive, unsafe, unwilling to follow instructions, or unable to safely participate.
Participants under 18 (often 13) may need parent or legal guardian consent before playing.
A parent, guardian, or responsible adult may be required to stay present.

Another practical adjustment
-
Rc Ball events may be photographed or recorded.
Rc Ball may use photos, videos, audio, gameplay footage, reactions, interviews, names, voices, and likenesses for:
Website content
Social media
Marketing
Advertising
Business presentations
Educational or promotional materials
Anyone who should not be filmed must notify Rc Ball before participation begins. Rc Ball will make a reasonable effort to respect no-filming requests, but public or group events may include background guests and crowd footage.
Participation may require a separate waiver, media consent, parent/guardian consent, or event agreement before gameplay begins.
Intentional misuse, unsafe handling, equipment tampering, ignored instructions, aggressive behavior, or preventable interference may result in removal from play or ending the activity. The host may be responsible for damage caused by guests, participants, or event conditions when damage results from misuse, unsafe behavior, or ignored instructions.

RC Ball is currently being offered as a demo experience, not a fully polished commercial event service.
Because this is an early demo, we cannot guarantee that every part of the setup or gameplay will run perfectly, continuously, or without interruption.
Robots, controllers, field conditions, weather, player behavior, or technical issues may affect the experience.
We will do our best to keep the demo safe, smooth, organized, and fun for everyone involved.
RC Ball staff may pause, adjust, reset, modify, or stop the demo at any time for safety, fairness, equipment, weather, or operational reasons.
Submitting a demo inquiry does not guarantee approval.
Demo requests are reviewed based on fit, space, timing, safety, and availability.
